Ben Dempsey is Chief Operating Officer for Auburndale Properties Inc. Mr. Dempsey joined Auburndale in 1997, and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Asset Management and Operations, where his role has been to identify, development and implement API’s long-term asset management strategy. His focus is identifying, developing, and implementing core and opportunistic value creation strategies that optimize the company’s portfolio performance.
Mr. Dempsey received a B.S. degree from the University of Hartford. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
TARA M. BOWEN
CONTROL AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Tara M. Bowen is the Controller and Chief Financial Officer of Auburndale Properties Inc. She is primarily responsible for overall financial accounting and tax reporting on behalf of the entities that own/lease properties, which Auburndale manages. She is also significantly involved in structuring the companies’ real estate financings.
Mrs. Bowen joined Auburndale Properties in 1999 as the Senior Property Accountant to mainly maintain the accounting of our Shadrall properties. Additionally, her duties included overseeing the entire accounting department. Prior to joining Auburndale, she held accounting positions in a variety of industries. She was an accountant for GenCorp, a commercial wall paper manufacturer, as well as the controller for Drug World Pharmacies, Inc a local drug store chain. Mrs. Bowen is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s College.

GENERAL COUNSEL
Tal Mor joined Auburndale Properties, Inc. in 1999, and now serves as General Counsel overseeing and managing all legal affairs, including leasing, financing and corporate governance. Prior to joining API, Mr. Mor was Senior Counsel with the firm of Stein, Simpson & Rosen, P.A., a boutique law firm, servicing as counsel to commercial landlords and tenants nationwide. Mr. Mor got his start in the commercial real estate professional serving as Director of Real Estate and Real Estate Counsel for United Retail Group, Inc., a once publicly traded retail company with over 600 retail stores nationwide. Mr. has a Bachelor of Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Ramapo College, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Roger Williams University. Mr. Mor is a member of the New Jersey Bar.
